Kappa Search Inc. (KSI) is a Chicago area recruiter specializing in the recruitment and placement of sales, engineering, manufacturing and technical professionals in a variety of fields. One of our clients in the medical industry is in a solid growth mode and is looking to expand their technical sales force. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise with electrical and/or power products and excellent communications skills. Responsibilities and requirements as follows:

• Generate additional sales by current account base and acquire new customers in the United States

• Achieve set sales targets and establish continuous growth for the long term position in the organization:

• Achieve growth of current account base, and secure new customers to the existing account base

• Coordinate new sales development between customers and our global operating development center

• Manage various daily technical customer management tasks including technical assistance

• Process quotations and sales orders for customers

• Schedule on a regular basis customer visits

• Provide support as necessary in the elimination of customer quality complaints

• Work in close collaboration with Development Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Management

• Support and apply the global policies regarding to human resources, quality assurance, safety regulations and environmental protection.


• Minimum BS Engineering. BSEE, BSME or BSEET preferred

• Experience 5 years minimum in sales

  • Processing quotes and orders
  • Experience with OEM clients (preferable in the medical and/or electrical market)

• 3+ years minimum in engineering

• 3+ years minimum in project management


• Excellent communications skills

• Good reporting skills

• MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)

• Work according to international standards and procedures
